“Rise Against Hunger” is an international aid organization with a vision of a world without hunger. Their mission is to end hunger in our lifetime by providing food and life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable and creating a global commitment to mobilize the necessary resources. Pleasant Hill CC partners with “Rise Against Hunger” in Eastern North Carolina by hosting a meal packaging program each year to package meals that are sent around the world to help meet the needs of those in need of essential nourishment. We join together with other local church congregations for a morning of great fellowship and a common desire to help those in need around the world.
